While Temecula Prep‘s victory against Bethel Christian wasn’t quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Kings on Friday.
Joshua Estrada and CJ Barbaro did most of the damage at the plate: Estrada went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Barbaro went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. That’s the most RBI Barbaro has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Cody Servin, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.
Temecula Prep is on a roll lately: they’ve won four of their last five games. That’s provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Bethel Christian, they have been struggling recently as they’ve lost three of their last four contests. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they’ve allowed 9.91 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
