The boys Middle School Flag Football team beat Van Avery Prep  20-0 on Thursday, September 17.  This away game was very exciting.  The Middle School Cheer team did a great job pumping up the energy with the players and spectators.

The first touch down was a Pick Six by Lucas Bennett! After a beautiful interception, he wasted no time to sprint to the end zone. The crowd went wild.  Jacob Groom easily made the extra point.

Blake Markham caught a bullet pass and scored a touchdown. I interviewed Laura Markham who said, “It was a great shutout win by the patriots! The cheer team added to the exciting atmosphere!”

The team has 2 bye weeks and goes on to play San Jacinto Leadership on October 2 at 3:30PM at SJLA.
