TPS Flag Football “Trounced” The Eagles!
The excitement started on the first play and just got better for the Temecula Prep Patriot Flag Football team. On the first snap, Bailey Litt, 11th grader, nabbed a pick six (6) making a beautiful play. The crowd was ecstatic. The fun continued throughout the game when Theresa Quealy made 3 interceptions. CJ Barbaro, Team Manager, said, “Tess had 3 great picks. The whole game was great. Maggie (Mama) had four (4) sacks. Zoe (Strand) ran 60 yards for a touchdown. The whole game was just great.” Barbaro is one of 2 team managers.
Other honorable mentions include 11th grader, Bailey Litt. She completed five (5) touchdowns, three (3) interceptions and scored a total of 32 points during the game. Their coach, Ben Constable, reported the final score as 54-6 for this non-league match up.
Jason Litt, Athletic Director, stated, “I was proud of the team and excited to watch their progress this season as they are the two-time defending South Valley League Champions looking for a ‘Three-Peat!'”

Temecula Prep Patriots (Winchester, CA) followers went home pleased Tuesday as they saw their flag football team triumph over the visiting Rancho Christian Eagles (Temecula, CA), 54-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Temecula Prep advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots host Chaparral (Temecula, CA) to play the Pumas in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 15. The Pumas go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Chaparral lost 27-14 in their recent non-league battle against Santiago (Corona, CA)
The Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Temecula Prep for a non-league battle on Monday, August 17.
